Hello everybody. How was your election day. Sadly I did not get the chance to vote today. The first problem with me and voting is if I do not know the issue or politicians stances on issues I can not feel good about voting for it. I did not really read up on many of the issues that where on the ballot we were supposed to be voting for. I am pretty sure I signed up to be eligible to vote my senior year in high school during american government for extra credit. I am not sure I did it properly and it was in cincinnati so I do not know if the area I lived before will be a problem if I try to vote here in columbus. I want to go online and see if there is a way to look these different problems up and if I can re register to be able to vote for the next election in columbus. I feel bad not being a voting citizen but I have become tired with all lying politicians and the whole fail system we currently have. My problem with all politicians is to become a politician in a good government position you have so many people or companies you owe a lot of favors for all the campaign contributions you were given. I also did not see a single commercial where a politician stands there and states how they feel. Instead all I see is a bunch of bullshit commercials where one politicians says how their opponent is ruining america and how voting for them will ruin your country.
I felt the same way. My father asked if I was voting and I said no. I didn't know any of the information on the election and I was not registered. I don't understand why people say to just vote for someone even if you don't know anything about them. How does that help, you know? I would feel uncomfortable voting for someone I know nothing about. So don't worry. You're not the only one.
ReplyDeletehaha yeah i feel like voting for a random person would be really bad for you because you could be voting for a dickhead
ReplyDeleteMy parents made me vote and I think personally it is a waste of a vote if you are voting without knowing anything about who or what you are voting for, which is exactly what I had to do.
ReplyDeleteyou really should have turned in a blank ballot. you gave someone your vote who you dont know anything about
